Swamphunter
My Switchback XT has a 28.5" draw set at 66lbs. I shoot PSE Carbon Force Dominator 300's, with a 100 gr tip. I am using a lightweight G5 Meta peep with no tubing and believe my fps to be approximately 270-272 fps. I sighted my bow in today after having the limb replaced last week, and I sighted in to be about 1 1/2" high at 20. Here is my question, does this sound about right. I thought at 25 I would drop but must be the arrows are still on the rise at 20 yards because here is my shooting results with just my single top pin. 1 1/2" high at 20 2 - 2 1/2" high at 25 Zeroed dead on at 30 that is as far as I went out due to shoulder pain. Do those numbers look about right?? If so I am going to drop the impact about 1" to lessen the chances of a deer jumping the string, and me being a bit high at the shorter yardages. I am just pretty impressed as to this and not even sure what the heck I bought a 4 pin sight for... Does this appear that the arrow is still on the rise at 20..levels out at 25, and then coming back into zero at 30? What do you think...maybe 3-4" low at 35?? Guest Danbo
Re: I\'m excited about this... I'd say at 35 yards, you should only drop an inch or 2 only. The numbers sould right. You only need 3 pints. 0-30, 40 and 50. Thats it.
