Chrud
Here is the new hunting bow from Mathews. 2007 Mathews Drenalin I'll probably shoot one, but won't buy. The specs are pretty much the same as my Switchback. I do like the new limb design. Looks like another great bow from Mathews.

New bow has my Switchie by 2 fps, so that's not enough to warrant me spending $800 on the new bow. Like you said though, the limb design itself, the limb pockets and the new limb swivel locks definitely seem to be rather inventive. Regardless, this bow is going to fly off the shelves in no time. BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin Thats a nice lookin bow there .. and talk about light wieght ... I think I might even be able to convince my buddy to look at that ... he said the reason he didnt buy the switchback is cause its heavier then his SQ2 ... well not any more ... VTbowman
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin Personally if I had this new bow, an XT, and a Switchabck all laying in front of me brand new, I would still choose the XT. I would shoot them all 1st of course but the new one and the original Swuiotchback seem to tote VERY simular numbers and the new bow is only a 1/2 lighter. I am sure its a super bow, as everything Mathews puts out is, but I do not think it to be worth the money if you already own a XT. JMO. I hold on to a bow for 3 to 5 years anyways. Takes about that long for newer technology to really change before I feel its worth the $$$ leap. Again JMO.

okiedog
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin I may buy a Drenalin. I came real close to buying an XT a few months ago, but decided to wait. I'am still shooting a SQ2, whick I love. I will shoot the XT and Drenalin both, but I like the looks of the new limbs and the weight. 6sixpoint_nobrows
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin looks pretty sweet...i am planning on buying the switchback xt next year...but im not for sure...i know the bow is amazing..the first time i shot it, i didnt even know i shot the bow because of no vibrations or anything....the price is a little steep right now...but for a bow like that im willing to pay. ScottyLuck
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin The similiarities between the Switchback and the Drenalin are that they have the same ata and brace height. Other than that they are completely different bows. You really can't compare ot to the SB.
Swamphunter
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin I like it but am sticking with my Switchback XT. They should have just named it "adrenalin", in my opinion... sounds better. I am sure they will sell a ton of them though.
Ohiobucks
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin Just by glancing at this AT.com topic, it looks like there are a few disappointed Mathews guys out there.... Mathew Drenalin
Guest tunkhannockbowhunter
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin outback, switchback, switchback xt. sure the designs may be a little different, but the differences in the way they shoot are so small that it is very very hard to notice. i have a feeling that the drenalin is going to be about the same also. mathews needs a faster longer bow that is as smooth as the outback or switchback. why would we want ANOTHER short, quiet, and smooth hunting bow, they already make three awesome ones. atleast they should have come out with two or three other designs along with this one. Guest wolbear
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin I've shot the Drenalin, and currently own an XT. I can honestly say cudos to Mathews, they have produced another winner! I'll be keeping the Xt as a back-up, boy never thought I'd be saying that! The Drenalin is lighter, faster, and a little smoother to me!!
