Tominator
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin I think I've talked myself into a new bow for the '07 season, definitely gonna have to shoot some new bows come spring time.
Pinwheel5
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin I have not shot one yet but why does mathews refuse to make a longer a to a bow for hunters? The MQ1 is still my all time favorite bow at 37" and I have not owned a Mathews for 3 years.

Pinwheel5
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin The LX was still too short. The last good hunting bow they made that had any respectable a to a was the Q2XL. Short is fine for most people but us guys that are over 6' and want more accuracy than manuverability are still left with target bows from Mathews. Hoyt, BowTech and PSE all make average a to a bows for hunters I just wonder why Mathews refuses too. Don't get me wrong, fine bows, just too short. maytom
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin I presently own a Switchback I picked up back in Sept. of 2005, since then, they have came out with the XT model, and now this new design for 2007. Personally, I wish that Mathew's would sit on a certain model for at least a couple of years before comming out with a new "revised" edition in less than 6 months!! I'm still very tickled with my Switchback, and now the new "XT model" has already been topped? My last Mathew's was their Ultra-light model in which I kept for 9 seasons. I promised myself not to get back into the "upgrade" mode evey year like in my younger days. At the cost of these bows today, you'd go broke trying to upgrade as fast as they are comming out with new models!! Look's like a nice bow, but I'm sticking with the Switchback for 2 more seasons at least!! Who know's what they will have out by then?? [/ QUOTE ] Probably because since 2004 they've produced bows 33" and shorter that shoot like a 36" + ATA bow. I think the riser length plays a much bigger role than some think. The Switchback's riser is longer than most 36" ATA bows.
BowJoe
Re: 2007 Mathews Drenalin Wait until spring when they come out with the Drenaline RushXT or the Drenaline Gland or some crap like that. I love Mathew's but this gets the same start as every year when they come out with something new. It's marketing and making money off those that think this bow will make more deer walk by you next season. I would personally like to hang on to a bow for a few years because if you think about it, comfort and confidence make as much a difference as anything else. I'd just wait a long while til the bitter taste of all of the "Revolutionary" new gadgets on the SWXT wears off. Notice they didn't say how quiet it was or smooth shooting or accurate it was. I know they mentioned those things but they didn't really tout them. Wait til spring and you'll hear how their follow up line is even better than the first. [/ QUOTE ] Huh? I've been interested in Mathews since 2004 and I've never seen them introduce a "new line" in the spring. They may introduce one more bow at the ATA show, but the Drenaline will be their main hunting bow from now until mid November 2007.
