My buddy was watching a bobcat about 20y away from his stand last week. It chased a doe when the doe got about 10y from the cat. Wow, seen some pretty good sized cats, but never would have thought a cat would even try to take down an adult deer. After they finally loaded all the way and i was able to watch the sequence a little quicker, looks to me like maybe the does were bedded and the cat might have snuck up on the deer already down.
