lil hunter
Re: Not sure which inline to buy I have a rem 700 right now, but my next will be a knight. My dad has the older style of disc gun from Knight. It's pretty sweet. If you want to spend the money, you should look into the disc extremes, or revolution. If you want something a little cheaper, I believe the T/C Omega is cheaper than the Knight disc guns, but like Mark said, the USAK is good also. Guest RandyWakeman
Re: Not sure which inline to buy [ QUOTE ] i am looking at buy an inline rifle, t/c,knight [/ QUOTE ] Traditions is the bottom of the barrel, in my opinion. The number of injuries resulting from CVA product use is astonishing. I'm very comfortable in saying that a lot is personal preference, style, and hunting conditions-- but very likely, there is a Knight, Thompson, Austin & Halleck, or Savage 10ML-II that will satisfy your needs. Guest bigbuckmiddaugh
Re: Not sure which inline to buy I purchase a CVA Optima Pro (nickel finish) I put a 3-12x scope on it OH, man is that thing nice and easy to clean. When all done hunting, break the action, tip upside down a little and 209 falls right out and very easy to put in too. I was shooting 125yds and it was laying them in there. I also took couple shots a 190yds, it will kill at deer at 190. Shooting 100 777 and 245aero tip I also like the dip in the stock, my buddy didn't! So, it might be good to go feel one up! I've been hunting in the rain, snow, 30mph winds these last couple days. Looks good still.

Other than the ability to add more barrels to the Encore, I would rather have the Knight or Omega (my Encore was NOT manufactured with the highest quality in mind, and is WAYYY over-advertised as being the baddest "magnum" ML out there -- it ain't. The Knight, Omega, and ESPECIALLY the Savage can shoot the same loads as the Encore.) The Savage can shoot both BP equiv. loads and smokeless. If I could only have one ML, the 10ML would be the one. tped
Re: Not sure which inline to buy I researched inlines to the extreme 2 years ago and felt that the T/C Encore was above all the rest. It is extremely accurate, great balance, easy to clean, load and seals tight. I jsut purchased a 2nd inline and was torn between the Knight Revolution and the T/C Omega. After handling both, I went with the T/c Omega, thumbhole stock w/fluted barrell. It had a better feel and balance to me. this gun shoots under 1" groups and is a dream to handle. This is my first experience wth the thumbhole stock and I cannot believe the control it gives. I am so sold on thee thumbhole that I just purchased a set for my Encore. My opinion is if you like the versatiltiy of other barrells, get the Encore, if not get the Omega, leave the bolt actions and the bulky Revolution for someone else. Other than Knight and T/C I'd leave them all in the shop
plannerman
Re: Not sure which inline to buy I'm voting TC as first choice (Encore or Omega), Remington 700 ML as second choice.
Guest DaHunter
Re: Not sure which inline to buy i own a t/c omega and i love it, its one deadly gun. This weekend it proved too me its water tight! i was practically hunting in blizzard conditions falling many times in the snow, lol. Anyways i finally got a shot off and it fired no problem, i actually hit the deer at 150+ yards too! open sights...the sad part is someone ran it off with a 4 wheeler before i got too it.
