Deer Season Over - Prayers Needed

Hey Guys! Had a little accident Saturday morning; broke my leg. Had surgery Sunday and have been in the hospital ever since. Got out this morning (Tuesday morning) but I am still in a lot of pain.

I had left for Kentucky to hunt with a buddy of mine on Friday and Saturday, hunted Friday afternoon and killed a 140 lb. doe; went back to the same shooting house Saturday morning to try to fill my buck tag and our plans were for him to film and me to shoot. It was about 6:00 and we arrived at the shooting house, my buddy climbed in and I got to the top rung of the ladder and he started screaming "Get down, get down, get down fast!" So and I was trying to climb down fast, my coat and orange vest got hung on the top rung of the ladder.........finally got it unhooked and got three quarters of the way down the ladder and the shooting house went forwards and I went backwards. The shooting house rested on a brush pile; but I landed on my right leg and felt what I thought was my knee give to the inside. Tried to stand up and every time I stood up, it buckled with me. He brought his truck down and I finally got up and we went to the ER and low and behold, my leg was broke!

Please pray guys...........I am going to be out of work for at least a month and have to pay for the surgery and everything. Thanks for everything!

Scott

I think alot of it had to do with first thought........he was thinking for my safety of trying to get down before the shooting house went totally over. He is the type of guy that is such a good friend of mine, that he would have rather been hurt than me........and he was just trying to get me to safety as fast as he could.
