Nope, I turned in the rebate slip within the period stated with the receipt they gave me via their on-line order center. I just checked the rebate center and it has been denied because the receipt wasn't included. Now, I should tell you I am an expert rebater. I know how the games are played and I keep copies of everything. This is the second Office Depot rebate I sent in and the SECOND that was turned down. The first was for tax software and it was denied because the purchase date wasn't between their beginning and ending date. Only it was right in the middle of it. This is like health insurance....deny until the customer gives up. Beware and shop at Staples if you need office supplies. They use the easy rebate system and is seamless. Its like using a coupon only they mail you a check. I try to when its anything over a couple of dollars. You can really save on a lot of things. Most people dont even bother sending them in and the ones that do get so frustrated they never do again. I am done with Office Depot as soon as I visit my local store and beat my $40 out of them...I mean politely ask that they give me cash at the store.
