Guest ronin
My huntin' partner, James, and I were calling in the wee hours yesterday morning. I was trying to film the hunt on DVD and having a tough time keepin cover and trying to catch the action all at the same time. We had 4 'lil dogs come in but the closest hung up about 200 yards out. They weren't interested in the rabbit but a couple of howls got their attention. James put the cross hairs on the leaders forehead and launched his 220 with a subtle squeeze. I beleive he parted the yotes hair because he ducked hard with both forefeet spread and then bolted as if the devil himself were in hot pursuit. Needless to say, the story to our huntin' friends now is this: James is such a bad shot that I had this 'lil yote staked out to a tree a 20 yards and he still missed!!!
