Guest RandyWakeman
The clip is here: http://members.aol.com/randymagic2/ah420carib.wmv About 35 mph, but fortunately directly in my face. Right at 150 yards.
Guest RandyWakeman
Re: Austin & Halleck\'s are sweet!! [ QUOTE ] Randy...How easy is the AH 420 for cleaning/maintance?...I've owed an Omega and Encore and loved the ease of cleaning on both guns...Currently thinking about an AH 420...What are your thoughts? Anyone? [/ QUOTE ] An A & H will take a little more time-- but you do have a quick release bolt going for you. Mainly because it has a bolt, and of course the Omega does not. Their owner's manual is free for the download-- and the exploded diagram is on their site as well. That should clarify things a bit.
WABS
Re: Austin & Halleck\'s are sweet!! I've never fired a A&H rifle, however I did hunt with a guy who was carrying one (420 with wood stock). I will tell you it was a beautiful gun, but VERY heavy
Guest RandyWakeman
Re: Austin & Halleck\'s are sweet!! If you don't have a reprimer, a Lee Auto-Prime and a shellholder-- from MidwayUSA, for example.
Guest RandyWakeman
Re: Austin & Halleck\'s are sweet!! Any small bore rifle reprimer for the .32 H & R can be used; the inexpensive Lee Auto-Prime with a #4 shellholder is all you need. Suitable for BP, Black Mag3, Pyrodex, Pyrodex Pellets, Triple 7, but-- not Triple 7 pellets, which for 209 primer use only, just as stated on every box of T 7 pellets. Actually, I'm far too lazy to bother to deprime-- I just buy the .32 H & R brass unprimed in bulk (also Midway USA)-- cheaper than red plastic jackets, anyway. You can, of course, if you wish.
