Don't get me wrong, I love Brad, but I think for him and the organization, a split may be a welcome change for both. The guy can flat out hit and every once in a while amaze you with his defense. Alot of people say that he plays horrible defense but its just not true. Yes he will make a bone head play everyonce in a while but when he does its so funny i just dont care. I also believe he has been towards the top in the league for outfield assists the last few seasons. The guy can throw alot better then you think. Manny is worth every penny and head ache that he causes and I will be very disapointed to see him go. If its true I will put money that Ortiz will not hit over 35 home runs this year. Signed Schmidt, Lieberthal and are rumored to be in negotiations with Mulder, Suppan and Luis Gonzales AND not to mention this Manny trade. Bonds can stay over on the west coast and ruin him self there. I will personally not let him even come close to putting on a Bosox uniform. It just cant happen and will not happen. Its not allowed. Id rather have the pitchers hit behind ortiz then have a side show like bonds in a sox uniform. Ewww it hurts just thinking about it. The thing I like most about the Red Sox team is that there are no big ego's. There is not one person that demands attention.
