Guest longbeard Posted December 8, 2006 Report Share Posted December 8, 2006 well i decided to carry the vanguard to the gunsmith today gonna get the barrel floated bed the stock and get the trigger worked said it will be ready in about a week. after i shoot it if it has to much recoil i shall go back and get a brake installed hope this gun shoots as good as it looks. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've found that the stock design on the Vanguard is very shoulder-friendly. Not so sure you'll feel the need to brake a .300 Wby. once you've tried it. Let us know how she shoots for you. Guest longbeard Posted December 17, 2006 Report Share Posted December 17, 2006 Re: 300 wby mag update well i got my gun back and boy the trigger is sweet i decided to remove the stock to examine the bedding job look's good also so i put it back together and when i put the srew back in i tightened it down and the screw driver kinda slipped lol leaving a nice scratch it's first one but oh well it is a hunting rifle now i need some optics so i can get some scratches from hunting and not the screw stick thanks for viewing all replies welome Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
