Bore Guides

Re: Bore Guides

I have been using them for years now. I don't clean a bore in a rifle without them. It does not matter if I am cleaning from the muzzle on a pump or semi auto, or if I am cleaning from the breech (preferred) on a bolt or singleshot, I always use a bore guide. I even use a bore guide to load and clean my muzzleloaders.

Re: Bore Guides

I use a Stoney Point bore guide. This is an excellent guide. It has the solvent/oil port built in so you don't have to touch the oil or solvent. Like AJ, I would not clean my rifles without one. Also need to use a good quality one piece rod like Dewey coated or Tipton carbon fiber.
