Hardwood_HD
Iv got a lot of scraps from the deer we butchered last week and they're getting rotten and smelling really bad. Iv been seeing and hearing a lot of yotes around here, would the scraps make good bait if i dumped them in a field?? and how long should i wait to hunt over it once i dump it? any advice will be much appreciated

Cybertech_hound819
Re: Deer Scraps?? thats what we do here in nh and it works great. we dump 2 50 gal drums and they are cleaned up in less that a week
wtnhunt
Re: Deer Scraps?? I do that with the deer carcasses and with the scraps here, and almost got lucky last year, but got spotted before I could get my shot off. Have set up cameras over them too. Unfortunately most of the yotes activity around them is usually at night.
WaCoyote
Re: Deer Scraps?? They'll come at night probably but it's worth a try I guess. I've seen gutpiles last 2-3 days if the coyotes are wary. I'd rather call them in.
