Squirrelhunter91 Posted December 27, 2006 Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 The 2 1/2 year old 8pt that we had in our yard this year made it thru the season!! I saw him today with a doe.. I don't know why he was still with the doe. She wasn't a yearling or a 2 year old so she was definitely mature and most likely bred the first time around. We have 12-15 bucks in this one area. But there really isn't much pressure on these deer from other hunters because it's a suburban spot with no access. Them does stunk to high heaven. I was cutting thru the woods on my way home from a friends house and jumped them. They stood there in the light of an apartment buildings parking lot.
