Swamphunter Posted December 29, 2006 Report Share Posted December 29, 2006 My younger cousin called me yesterday from Pennsylvania and while we were talking he told me that he is interested in making a video for youtube, with a bunch of hunting related pictures with The Nuge's "Fred Bear" music or something like it playing as the images scrolled. I got curious, how do people take their own images and turn place them into a streaming movie and add music? Is there a website that does it or a program? I use Adobe Premiere. Premiere Elements is a good consumer option. Windows systems come with a movie editing program called Movie Maker, I think. Apple has a great program called Final Cut Pro. Most computers have the free version of Quicktime installed on them when you buy them. But in order to edit chips ect...you need the "Pro" version. You can buy it off Apple's website for $20 or $30. That being said, its limited and works best if you're only trying to edit clips of movies. Programs like Adobe Premeir or Adobe After Effects are great for creating your own videos, but they're very expensive. I've never used Apple's Final Cut Pro, but that sounds like a program that might be worth a look. There also may me version of Windows Media Player or Nero that will let you edit videos. The main trouble you'll come across is getting the videos saved as proper file extensions for whatever program you're using. They're are video converting programs out there that will convert all kinds of files to whatever you need. YASA is a good one. I think its around $30.
