bigbearguy
I have a chance to buy a lightly used Legacy loaded for a decent price. I currently have a 6 or 7 year old Mathews FX and its time to upgrade. My brother has a Legacy and I have shot that a few times. So how much better is the Switchback X/T compared to the Legacy. I figure with the good deal that I am getting I could probably sell the Legacy and make some money off of that and then go buy the Switchback or possibly the new Drenalin. Thanks for any help! ScottyLuck
Re: How good is the Switchback compared to a Legacy? The Legacy is a great bow. I had one and it's still one of my favorites. But, for me, it doesn't compare to the XT. It's a lot smoother through the draw cycle with the never Cobra cams. I've owned most of Mathews newer hunting bows and have shot the Drenalin. The XT is the bow I still have and will not be getting rid of it. Take the Legacy to a shop and shoot it side by side with the XT and form your own conclusion. Elwood
Re: How good is the Switchback compared to a Legacy? I have had both and the difference as said before is night and day but mainly on the draw cycle. I had one set up with the same equipment as my Switchback and could not tell much if any difference between them when shot. Now let's talk draw cycle, an incredible difference. The SwitchBack is much more smooth and easier on your shoulder. Shoot them side by side and you will see the difference. I now own two SwitchBacks. Tominator
Re: How good is the Switchback compared to a Legacy? I'll let you know when my tax check comes in. I have a Legacy, but might get a new bow this year. One of the new bows I will definitely shoot is the XT. Then again, my buddy Ohiobucks might just get me to go to the darkside.
