Well they'll only accept CD or DVD format, or through the Computer. The Problem, I only have a VHS Camcorder. What type of options am I looking at as far as being able to enter? M00N Posted January 5, 2007 Report Share Posted January 5, 2007 Re: Need Some Video Help Please If you have a DVD-R and VHS VCR for your TV and you play the VHS on the TV and record on the DVD-R at the same time it'll transfer the footage to the DVD-R from the VHS for you. Then you can transfer it to your computer if you wish to do any digital editing of the video if needed and burn it back off the computer to a DVD to send it in or if the bare footage you recorded is fine and doesn't need touchups you could just send the DVD that you recorded on in your DVD-R in. wtnhunt Posted January 5, 2007 Report Share Posted January 5, 2007 Re: Need Some Video Help Please Could do what moon suggests here, also if your computer has a tv tuner card or a video card that accepts rca type jacks or other input source for video, you could load the video from your vcr straight to your computer with the right software. Got a video capture board from pinnacle I installed in my computer will work with basically any vcr or camcorder. After you capture video, you can edit and burn to a dvd. If nothing else, if you cannot find someone, I could transfer it for you, just let me know. DVD recorder have gotten pretty cheap, might consider that as an option.
