The tuna experiment

A few guys here at work are conducting a test to see if it is possible to eat nothing but tuna fish for an entire week without negative effects. Yes, tuna fish…. breakfast, lunch and dinner…not too mention snacking is tuna only. The only thing that can be added is some type of condiment to the tuna for flavor. Drinks can be absolutely anything we want without restriction, as long as it is a liquid in original form and not something pureed’. Combined with some cardio, because this is a protein diet, we expect to lose weight also. This is an on our honor basis, as we have no way of verifying truthfulness but its our conscience on the line. We will be starting at 0001hrs Monday the 8th. Wish me luck...

Re: The tuna experiment

Man....you got guts is all I can say. I like tuna fish, but I don't know if I could do it for a week straight. Nothing but tuna.

Come to think of it back in college a guy that played football did it for longer than a week. He was trying to lose weight. It worked. He lost a good bit of weight.

Well good luck.....keep us posted!

My wife tried that a few years ago and has not touched tuna since! She lasted 4 days and i had to put up with her crap which was worse than ever!! NO TUNA diet around here ever again!!

Like I said, I eat several cans a day anyway (usually at very least 2), so it is more of just removing the other things. What the heck...if I last for a few days, and can't make it...I'm not out anything, it is just a friendly game at work.

I could count the number of times I have eaten fast food in the last 2 years on one hand. Doesn't agree with me. Unless you are considering whitetails as "fast food" blush.gifgrin.gif

You will be fine if you eat a multi-vitamin everyday. I ate plain tuna (packed in water) for 2 months and lost 106 lbs.

Good luck.

WHAT?????????????????????????? you ate nothing else??? Did you excersize??? 106 pounds??? WOW!!!! That's great. Wonder if eating canned chicken would do the same. confused.gif I can't imagine eating tuna for 2 months without getting sick. crazy.gif What did you drink????
