Shaun_300
Re: The tuna experiment Nasty! I'd last until the first bite of the stuff. The wife is gonna make you sleep on the couch, I'm sure pure tuna for a week will melt the covers right off the bed!

elkoholic
Re: The tuna experiment I only know of one person who went on a tuna fish diet and they now have mercury poisoning. It was all they ate for several months. I like tuna fish every once in a while, but like anything else, moderation is good. Good luck on your experiment and don't be surprised if you smell something fishy.
Swamphunter
Re: The tuna experiment We are only doing Monday through Friday. We also are going to call it off if any of us get sick, or not feeling so well.

I tell you tho youll be craving some fastfood by the time its over. [/ QUOTE ] I could count the number of times I have eaten fast food in the last 2 years on one hand. Doesn't agree with me. Unless you are considering whitetails as "fast food" [/ QUOTE ] Wish i didnt like it so much. With school lunch you just run out and grab what you can fast. But i can say its good. Leo
Re: The tuna experiment The mercury concern is not one to take lightly. Be careful that's stuff accumulates in your system and takes a long time to get out.

ZooBear
Re: The tuna experiment I drank ALOT of water while I did it. The first week or two was the hardest, then it got easier. I did work out about 4 days a week but I think the tuna did most of it. Good luck and keep us updated!
Swamphunter
Re: The tuna experiment I drink 1 gallon of water a day already, and do 3 days of cardio, treadmill and heavybag, plus 2 nights a week (1 1/2 - 3hrs each), of martial arts. I need to lose about 10 lbs and this week should give me a good start on it.

muggs
Re: The tuna experiment Swampy, I gotta tell you, that's not a healthy diet. Sure, tuna's good for you with all that protein and Omega-3's, but you need a balanced diet. Like was mentioned...you need to at least supplement that with a Multi-vitamin. [/ QUOTE ] Well, I just received news that everyone else couldn't make it past lunchtime and walked in with Subway Subs....(get this - TUNA!) They chose not to go any further as they could not stomach eating Tuna out of the can for lunch. I just have to get through the rest of the day to seal the deal. I have been taking a multivitamin for about 6 months now. I realize it is not a very healthy diet, but I've done worse things.

doughboy1956
Re: The tuna experiment Toxic Tuna - How Much Tuna is Safe to Eat? Diet Wise OR Diet Bait? Many imports of canned tuna have mercury levels higher than the federal limit. It might be wise to limit yourself to 2 servings of LIGHT tuna per week until the public is told otherwise. We care and don't want to see you get sick.
