[/ QUOTE ] Unless something has came up recently that I don't know about there is not a 7mm-08 mag. There is a 7mm-08 and a 7mm Remington Mag but not a 7mm-08 mag. To answer your question though it would look something like this: 243 7mm-08 303 308 25-06 270 280 30-06 7mm Remington Mag 300 Win mag 338 Mag then on into todays ultra mags etc. Now keep in mind that there are only a few "base" calibers and most everything else is a "hybrid" or is built off of the base casing. Such as the 30-06, the 25-06, the 270, and the 280 are all 30-06 cases modified to carry a different diameter bullet. The 308 case has been modified to create the 243, 7mm-08 and I think the 358 winchester. So to rank them in a hierarchy is really kind of tough.
