My wife likes her bread machine and uses it once in awhile. She now makes bread now without it which to me is even better than the machine.

But she does say that the bread machine will allow her to do other things while it is in use since it does not take watching.

We've got one, and even I can make bread with it. LOL My only complaint is the crust, and I'm sure there are ways to make it better, but IMHO, you just can't beat hand tossed/worked bread done in the oven. The kicker, it takes time, and a mess in the kitchen. What mom has done is just use the dough cycle. Mix up the dough, then bake it in the oven and check up on it. Works pretty well.

we got one and used it like crazy....then it became a dust collector, its good bread but never think of gettin it out! the wife has been using it more lately and boy did we miss it!! if nothing else its a better air freshener than any candle around!! LOL love the smell of homemade bread!
