Jeramie Posted January 26, 2007 Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 My moron supervisor came to work sick as a dog on Tuesday. At the time he didn't tell us how sick he was until that afternoon. He was in and out of our offices all day. Finally that afternoon he mentioned to me that he had a fever and everything. Honestly I dont get sick often so I blew it off and went on my way. The next morning he called in which is odd because this guy is a control freak and I imagined him having paramedics wheel him in on a gurney if need be. Regardless by Wednesday afternoon my throat hurt. but Yesterday morning at 4:00 when I was about to walk out the door I felt like I had been hit by a truck. I never mis work but it was just more then I could do, especially considering im working 11-12 hours a day with an hour drive each way. I have 4-weeks of sick pay and havent used a single day so I cashed in and went back to bed. I laid around all day yesterday watching movies and the outdoor channel but was going batty by about 2:00. Used to be the same way, would not miss work no matter how bad I felt, but have learned that taking advantage of those sick days that you just end up losing is not always so bad.
