Guest ILclimber
Does anyone wear these boots? And which ones, I'm gonna be buying a pair here pretty soon, and I don't know if I should go for the cheaper, non insul, or go ahead and get the 800g insulated pair. Thanks

Ravin R10 man
Re: LaCrosse Alpha Burly Boots I have the Alpha 800 gr. thinsulate boots, here with lower temps I like the insulation.
ruttinbuc
Re: LaCrosse Alpha Burly Boots I have a pair of the 1500 gr insulation and they left my feet a bit cold on an all day sit in 30 degree temperature. A bit disappointed in that. I like the fit and the easy on and off. Will just use something else when its cold.
woodshed
Re: LaCrosse Alpha Burly Boots I have the 1000g boots. I love them. I can walk in them all day. I never get wet and unless it's in the single digits my feet don't get uncomfortably cold. Prob. one of my best purchases. I have to cross creeks on my hunting property so it's important to stay dry for me.
Adjam5
Re: LaCrosse Alpha Burly Boots I have the 800gr Hardwoods model. Got 5 years out of them before rubber on top of foot gave out on left boot. I used some gorrilla glue on it and so far so good. Feet tend to get a bit cold while sitting on stand, but great walking boots in water, snow and mud. Traction is good. Insulation is so so, waterproofing perfect. Get the highest insulation you could afford if you will be stand hunting. Lighter boots for alot of walking.
Born2Hunt
Re: LaCrosse Alpha Burly Boots I have two pair I bought when they first came out and I still wear them everytime I'm in the woods.
RangerClay
Re: LaCrosse Alpha Burly Boots I have a pair of the uninsulated boots. I wear them when I am doing drives. They keep my feet warm, dry and comfortable. My only complaint is that they are a little slippery in snow. I din't feel as sure footed as I have with other boots I have worn. Guest skinner2
Re: LaCrosse Alpha Burly Boots I have a pair of the 800 gram insulated burly boots. I think they are a greeat boot but my feet get cold when on stand no matter what I do but thats not the boots fault in my case
WVreddot870
Re: LaCrosse Alpha Burly Boots I have 2 pair. 1 1000 gr for cold weather and a non ins. pair for turkey and early bow season. I've owned several pair of Lacrosse boots with no complaints!
Guest jason88
Re: LaCrosse Alpha Burly Boots I have a pair of the 800 gr burlys. Awsome boot found them to be great until after bow season. would recommend getting the heavier insulation for late season or bitter cold weather.
