Does anyone wear these boots? And which ones, I'm gonna be buying a pair here pretty soon, and I don't know if I should go for the cheaper, non insul, or go ahead and get the 800g insulated pair. Thanks

I have the 1000g boots. I love them. I can walk in them all day. I never get wet and unless it's in the single digits my feet don't get uncomfortably cold.

Prob. one of my best purchases. I have to cross creeks on my hunting property so it's important to stay dry for me.

Re: LaCrosse Alpha Burly Boots

I have the 800gr Hardwoods model. Got 5 years out of them before rubber on top of foot gave out on left boot. I used some gorrilla glue on it and so far so good. Feet tend to get a bit cold while sitting on stand, but great walking boots in water, snow and mud. Traction is good. Insulation is so so, waterproofing perfect. Get the highest insulation you could afford if you will be stand hunting. Lighter boots for alot of walking.

I have a pair of the 800 gr burlys. Awsome boot found them to be great until after bow season. would recommend getting the heavier insulation for late season or bitter cold weather.
