Actually, from Sept 1 until the end of the year, that is the only thing that geys used in our washing machine for all our laundry.Recently we just upgrades to a LG Trom frot loader washing machine. It says that you can only use HE ( Hight Efficiency) detergent in the machine. The salesman said to make sure to not use anything that wasn't labeled HE. Anyone with a fromtloader? It is free of any scents or perfumes and I consistenly have deer walk within 10 yards without being winded. I'm sure you can use this detergent. First of all the front loader uses 30 to 65% less water, in the wash and the rinse cycles. The HE detergents are made to rinse easier supposedly. From what I understand, if you use regular soap, in front loaders you can actually risk having VERY expensive repairs to your washer due to soap reisdue build up in the pumps etc! Front loaders have a tendency to over suds with a 'normal' amount of detergent and that causes the clothes to not rinse completely. Just don't use as much detergent and you can use whatever you want. She said volume wise, the bottles are alittle smaller, but they do the same # of loads, and the price was actually a little cheaper. This was for non scented All detergent. I have to say, I am pretty impressed with the machine so far. It definetely uses considerably less water. You can hear it when it is filling. The machine is almost silent,( this is a big plus for me as they are right outside my hunting room, where my computer is), except for in spin mode, and the clothes come out practically dry.
