[/ QUOTE ] These are great rifles for younger shooters! My 8 year old son has one in the 22-250 caliber. Don't worry Strut 10- he will be shooting the MAGNUMS before you know it! H&R or NEF those are the best for the money. i have a beatiful rifle in 35 whelen from H&R and it was a rocky mountain rlk foundation model and the wood and the overall look is outstanding. i also was looking for maybe one for the mrs and i found a 243 for like a150 bucks set up with some outstanding laminated wood and it was a pink wood which my mrs loved of course rob k Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
