OJR Posted February 6, 2007 Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 I shot a cow elk this morning with my MIGHTY Tikka 270 using a Hornady 130 grain Interbond bullet! One shot at about 100 yards and the bullet went through both lungs and out the other side! It went about 10 feet and piled up! Not one ounce of meat ruined or shot to pieces and this elk was DEAD!! Sure don't need anthing bigger to do the job! No busted eardrums or shoulder! Just a BOOM - PLOP and that was it! Sorry, I didn't have any cocoa to drink afterwards, but I did have a cup of DE-CAF!
