You wouldn't believe how many bikes he sales! He will have a new lot every few days. He actually has a steel MFG shop. He just does this on the side. He has something going with Honda Credit and most of the bikes he gets are repo's. He and his mechanic go through them and make sure they are 100% before you buy them.

Super great guy and he has some great deals. Im saving up cash right now to go talk to him about a bike. I figure if I show up with $2500 cash I can walk away with a sweet deal!

I would stay away from ebay and stay away from used unless you know the person who owned it and only if they took really god care of it. Four wheelers are toys to most people and a lot of people do thing with them they should not. Working with a 0% apr is a really good idea to get something that really might be the best four wheeler for you. a 250 is pretty small and under powered, it will work for you but you will probably be kicking your self in the but a year from now. When we bought a motorcycle for my fiancee we looked at a 250 and a 500, she said to me and I agreed I don't want to get something that I am going to outgrow and a year and wish that I had gotten something bigger. Boy am I glad that we bought the 500 now, a little more money but money well spent.

It all depends where you shop and how well you look the bike over. There are tale tale signs to look for mechanical mistakes.

Reputation is by far the most important IMHO. Btw, a 250 is small. Personally I would save up and buy a 350 too but that is just me. Grandma has a New honda 250. Honestly if youre just using it for hunting you can easily get by with a 250. However, if youre ever going to food plot or pull trailers and such you better step up.....

Look around your area. Local. I think you could find something that you can put a few bucks in to fix up. I am a Honda guy also and I have two. They have been through alot and keep on going. You just have to find a deal with a motor and trans in good shape. I bought a 450es for 1000 dollars and fixed it up. I have 2500 in it counting the original 1000, and it is better than new. The deals are out there you will just have to keep looking. I have some pics of mine on my webshots page below. grin.gif

Dang bowhtrl1, can I hire you to rebuild one if I find it. I too am in the market for a 4 wheeler as soon as I get moved into my new house in Upstate New York. I'm afraid of used though. I'm looking new. My problem is there are limited dealers near where I'll be that carry Honda. TO me they look like the best bang for the buck. All sorts of Polaris dealers but I've heard too many complaints and problems from them.
