unioncountyslayer
I stop by a landscaping forum from time to time and at the end of each year, they have a "Member of the Year" vote and a couple other specific awards for different types of landscaping. I was just thinking it might be cool to have a "Member of the Year" award on Realtree. This year two members were selected that you can vote for on that forum, but I liked how they did it last year a little better and would suggest it for here. There is a cut-off date for votes, and everyone just PM's their vote to a moderator and at the end of the cut-off date the winner is announced. The idea is to vote for a member that has significantly contributed to the forum. Just thought it might be fun. What do y'all think?
Randy
Re: Just a Suggestion I've got mixed feelings on this. It's not a bad idea but, if I don't win does that make me a loser??

Guest Andrea
Re: Just a Suggestion Sounds like fun. And we can make up a rule that whoever gets mad, is NOT allowed in the vote next year.

M00N
Re: Just a Suggestion Sounds like fun. I think there should be a vote for Moderator Of The Year and Member Of The Year. Members would stand no chance running against a Moderator. It would be hard, for me at least, to vote against a Moderator when paired against a Member when I see all the hard work Moderators do around these forums everyday. unioncountyslayer
Re: Just a Suggestion Well, we could add a Whinner of the Year if that would make them happy.
