Dukey
I am going to go and try callin some yotes next weekend, it has been bitterly cold for about a month and there is about 6-8 inches of snow on the ground. So they should be hungry i hope. I was wondering what type of call you guys use this time of year. I have a couple rabbit in distress calls, but was wondering if a coyote howl would be better? DU_man_84
Re: Which call to use. well they way i have learned from randy anderson is that he always starts off with a few howls, and then after few minutes then he will go to distress calls, he also says normally if its colder than 15 degrees coyotes normally dont respond to the howler, but they will still come in, so i would say start off with the howler let them know your there and then after a few minutes swith to a sequence of some distress calls
