coles Posted December 19, 2004 Report Share Posted December 19, 2004 at school about 20 or so are doing a 30 hour fast for an organization about world hunger. i havent eaten since 10 yesterday morning and cant eat till 4 today. but its really made me stop and think of all the people that will go hungry pm crhistmas. what we are doing is nothing compared to what they will feel. i just thought i would let you all know about that. cole Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Had nice taters and carrots, onions and the like in it. Rinsed it down with some nice homemade bread and a nice glass of ice cold water! We all know that your fasting is nothing compared to what someone who is starving is going through, but at least you have done something to bring attention to this very serious problem. Even in the US there are people who are starving and underfed and with all the wealth in the world, this should never happen. Thanks for doing something to bring attention to this! I grew up poor as poor can be and I never went hungry. God has truly blessed this nation. I couldn't imagine not having the freedoms that we take for granted......
