bigmoss
Re: question for you pic takers What brand and cam are you using ? Does it have image stabilization ? Are you letting the cam adapt to the cold before starting to take pics ? Also I would leave the camera in P mode

wtnhunt
Re: question for you pic takers Good point from bigmoss there about letting the camera temp adjust. Had some focus issues with my minolta shooting some pics of ducks a couple weeks ago, but was more user than the camera, fast flying critters and limbs and other clutter can at times be a bit troubling to focus through in af mode. toddyboman
Re: question for you pic takers Sometimes you have to use the action setting to help capture those fast moving creatures. You want a faster shutter speed to capture them while moving!!
_MD_
Re: question for you pic takers I wonder about the lens you are using. I would guess that if you are using the lens that came with the camera it may not be the best suited for high speed ducks.
