Squirrelhunter91
After seeing a bunch of racoons, opossums and skunks in the yard at night, I decided to set my trail cam up on the corner of the deck, facing closest bird feeder to the house. I also threw a bunch of seed down in the woods behind the fence for all the other birds and stuff that get pushed around and can't eat at the actual feeders. Little did I know that I would wake up to turkeys in my actual yard, in front of the trail cam and eating all the seed!!! Talk about awesome!! It was a group of 6 jakes, with only one jake having a 3 or 4" beard and the rest having 1" or 2" stubs. They must've followed the seed trail up the hill into the yard!! All had tiny spurs. But anyway, these pics were taken by my Wildview Xtreme II trail cam when the birds began to get a little scared. The garbage truck was in front of my house picking up the garbage and the constant stop and go of the diesel engine and then squeaky breaks scared the birds I assume. Cam was set on 2 pics per trigger. While the birds were in the yard, I was taking video with the handheld camera, a Kodak c340.

Hoyt03
Re: Turkey Pics & Videos Did they actually fly into your enclosed by fence backyard? That's awesome. It's nothing to see stuff like this in your back yard, but when you backyad is fenced in like that and your still getting that type of activity thats awesome. Adjam5
Re: Turkey Pics & Videos Some more pics and vids from our yard yesterday. We back up to a old, closed inactive reservior that is wooded all around it. It is unaccessable public land Oxymoron if you ask me. But we have access...thru our yard! There are a few anti's around...so operations are covert One vid..they are on the fence and another is one my neighbors shed roof. They come for the bird seed that the squirrells spill out all over. This morning, we saw them fly down from the roost and head right for our yard. I leave the gate open so they could walk thru easily. Our property goes back another 50yards from the fence. we fenced when we moved in 10 years ago to keep the little kiddies in the yard. Joe and the other boys are not so little anymore, so the fence stays open. Hey...It just hit me...I could run a high fence operation here. Our yard and the woods behind are teeming with wildlife. http://s9.photobucket.com/albums/a100/ADja...eyinvasion1.flv http://s9.photobucket.com/albums/a100/ADja...eyinvasion3.flv http://s9.photobucket.com/albums/a100/ADja...eyinvasion4.flv http://s9.photobucket.com/albums/a100/ADja...eyinvasion5.flv
