Squirrelhunter91
What are the things you people look for in a trail camera? Reason I ask is because I was asked to do a review on the Wildview Xtreme II camera on another forum. After every saw my pics of the bucks, turkeys and bear all summer, they want a write-up on my cam. I do not know what categories to critique the camera under. I know a few: [*] Affordability [*]Trigger Speed [*] Pic Quality [*] Flash Range [*] Video clips [*] User Friendly [*] Company's Customer Service Please feel free to add any other categories. wtnhunt
Re: Things you look for in a trail cam In a commercial camera, 1. I would suggest starting with a company that will stand behind their product, so customer service would be at the top of my list. After all, you can have the fastest triggersing camera out there, that if it breaks and they wont fix it, it does you no good. 2. Would have to be detection range and triggering times. If the camera is not fast enough or does not have a good pir detection range it will be about useless. 3. Picture quality effective mps and flash range, and how the quality overal of the pics turn out. 4. Battery life. 5 Construction and ease of use.
