Steven
To fix the collateral damage from the software change? My b-day is now wrong in my profile and I lost about 3600 posts on my post count.
OJR
I lost about 3,000 posts also! Maybe they cut off everything from a certain date! Who knows???
bigmoss
Steven have a look at the BIG red message at the top of the screen your answer is there, also use the User CP top left to change your BDay etc. There are also 2 other threads already open answering your question. wtnhunt
LOL. Lost my avatar, gained a mess load of pm's that had been previously deleted, and lost about 15 thousand posts I think. Dont know if that will get fixed or not. Going to take a little getting used to figuring out this new format though.
Steven
Yeah, I saw the big red box, bigmoss. I still can't fix my b-day. It got reversed instead of 7/2/73 it's 2/7/73. I also didn't notice that apparently everybody lost a bunch of posts. I usually do my research, but I didn't this time. Please disregard. buckee
Are you 34? because that's what it says you are. I think it is just going month/day/year, instead of day/month/year
Steven
No, it doesn't give the option to change it. Instead, it has this message "Your date of birth and age are displayed in several places on the forum. Only the administrator will have access to your date of birth should you choose to hide it via the privacy option below. Please contact the Administrator if your date of birth has changed." Steven
Yeah, I'm 34 buckee. but my bday is 7/2, not 2/7. I can't change it, so I'll just wait until bugs get worked out and see what happens.

tedicast
I had to reset my b-day and it seemed to let me. I also lost over 1000 posts!

wtnhunt
I also didn't notice that apparently everybody lost a bunch of posts. I usually do my research, but I didn't this time. Please disregard. Not everybody, just those of us who have been around here for a long time. Some like Shaun and Luke still have all their posts. Think those of us who posted on the old forums before the last major change lost all those posts. Looks like arrow, Luke, Shaun, and some others skipped way up the totem pole past other older members who had been around for a while. TxBowHunter
I'm glad nothing happened to my stuff. I do not have as much posts as all you other guys!

That really sucks for a lot of you guys that were up there in posts. I'm honestly not one to worry about post counts, but a lot of people do, which is fine. If the post counts aren't going to be able to be brought back to what they were, now would be a good time to just do away with the post count all together. We would all still have our "monster buck", or "senior member" tag, and our joined date, so newer members would know who has been around awhile. Getting rid of the post count would also stop a lot of nonsense posts. Just my opinion.
