Re: How \'bout those Bills....

Diehard Bills fan here. Been that way since before I could talk.... grin.gif Kinda hard being a Bills fan down here in Cowboy(dallas) country but I'm making it.

It's gonna be tough for them to make it to the playoffs. First they have to beat Pittsburg, then they have to wait for either Denver or the Jets to lose. Even if Pitt doesn't sit Ben, I think the Bills have a great chance of beating them. The other games are what I'm worried about. Denver is playing Indy so that one could be a loss.

Steelers get no respect........Y'all do realize they are the best team in the NFL right now don't ya?

The road to the Superbowl goes through Pennsylvania, and both teams (Steelers and Eagles) are undefeated at home.

Just had to go and spoil our little bit of light didn't ya !!! I'm just praying the steelers are looking past Buffalo and get alittle cocky... smile.gifsmile.gif

I think the Steelers deserve a ton of credit. They've been a great football team all year....the Bills have been a great team the last six games.

The way the Bills are playing right now, I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't favored come Sunday.

To be the best you have to beat the best. With a one loss record, there's no way Pitt will looking past the Bills....it's a pride thing.

Should be a good game come Sunday.

don't the bills play the steelers at home? i really think they are going to beat the steelers! hopefully the colts will beat the broncos--and bam--they are in the playoffs. i have never been a big bills fan until thurman thomas (an OSU boy) played for them. but i have always been a big bledsoe fan.

Re: How \'bout those Bills....

all i am saying is if the Bills make the playoffs they are one of the hottest teams out there--just look at the point margin they have won by during their winning streak---they are a team you just don't want to play right now.

the steelers have just been "creeping" by in their last wins--i think they are due to get beat. i will give it up to the steelers---for sure the "surprise" team of the year.

Sun. Nov. 21 St. Louis Win 37-17

Sun. Nov. 28 @Seattle Win 38-9

Sun. Dec. 5 @Miami Win 42-32

Sun. Dec. 12 Cleveland Win 37-7

Sun. Dec. 19 @Cincinnati Win 33-17

Sun. Dec. 26 @San Francisco Win 41-7

those are some really impressive numbers--and 4 of the 6 wins have been on the road!

Re: How \'bout those Bills....

The Bills have been playing great but look at that list....San Fran, Cleveland, Miami etc. Thats not exactly the same kind of competition they are going to see on Sunday. I for one though would not be overly surprised to see the Bills win simply because most of their starters wont play much except for the ones just coming back off of injury that need to shake the rust off.

Re: How \'bout those Bills....

Guys, don't get too excited about the game........The Steelers are not playing most of the starters so if the Bills do win, it won't mean a thing, lol.

I'm a diehard Steelers fan, and I expect their second and third stringers to play thier hearts out, but even I don't expect them to win when the stars of the team are riding the pine.

I hope this is the case and let the Bill's slide like I stated earlier this could be there undoing, letting a hot team into the playoffs...this mistake has been done before in the past just ask any Patriots fan..LOL

That's good because I don't expect that they could win with them in the game! ! ! grin.gif

I live very close to the Bills stadium and have been a die hard for over 30 years. But with that said,

with the win this sunday over the Steelers, I still have my doubts on them getting in. The rams have little chance of beating the Jets, and Ind, like Pittsburgh will sit nearly all the stars against the Denver Broncos. Although I think Indis back ups will give them a fighting chance.

I just don't know! What do you all think? Will the Bills make the playoffs?

The Rams have a very good chance of beating the Jets. That's the game that I think will put us in. The Rams are exploxive and Martz will hopefully have them bringing their A game.

I also think that Indy can beat Denver without their stars.

I'm with ya though Wigs. I've been a Bills fan going on 25+ years.(I really think 31 but have no proof since I can't remember crap from my infancy grin.gif)

If Denver and Buffalo make the wild cards then Buffalo might get to see how good Pitt will be with their stars in it. Not sure how the bracket will shape up but I assume the Number 1 team will play the last wild card. Denver jumps ahead of us but if NY makes it, we should have them by beating them this year.
