toddyboman
I am kinda upset with them. Maybe you guys can help. I purchased a doe decoy and the package was missing the legs, the scent wick things, and something else. I purchased this at a store 4 hours from where I live. Yep stupid me did not open the package to check it out while I was still in the area of the store. So when I got home and opened the package up I found out about these missing parts. So I emailed Renzo decoy explaining that those pieces were missing and wanted to know what type of rod and how long it was. I did not want anything more than some info, I am sure I can go to the local hardware store and pick it up the rods for the legs. Thats the main piece I need. I sent this email over a week ago to them, and have yet to hear any type of response. Can any of you help me out and just tell me what type of rod and how long it is? Thanks. bowin_in_illinois
let me know if you have any luck with yours. I bought renzos a few years back and have had no luck with them. I don't know if they are too small, or just not recognizable from far away, but I have quit using them. could be user error, so let me know how you make out. BearClaw
I called Renzo about a doe decoy I had and lost the steel posts. They said they would send them our at no charge. It took awhile but they did. I used the decoy last year and can't say that that it worked. It actutally blew over because I didn't secure it well enough. A deer came down the rdige behind me, I couldn't turn around as it was directly behind me at eye level (or so the noise seemed). I don't know if it saw the 'downed' deer or not but it went back up the ridge. I think it will work with the right circumstances. From a distance, it looks real enogh to me but then again, I'm not a deer!
Guest deadeye270
the secret to these decoys is to add some movement. A sheet of tissue paper on the tail works for me.
LifeNRA
They probably get blasted with emails, I would call them. If they stand behind their products, they should mail you the parts you need.
