Jeramie
From one extreme to the next. For the past 2-years we have been in a major drought. For whatever reason that has changed this year. Its flooding and just about as wet as I can ever remember. Bartlesville (north of Tulsa) and Dewey (north of Bartlesville) received over 8" of rain in half a day! Monday we have 3" of rain in just a few hours at the house. Yesterday it POURED to zero visibility (literally) all around. And today.... Yep, you guessed it. Its POURING down. I just got back from lunch and everything is flooding. Its suppose to rain off and on the rest of the week! Reportedly, we have made up this years rain and even recovered from a two year drought! Its INSANE. It really needs to quit.......

Guest Andrea
We are in a severe drought right now. We got a good shower yesterday though but it hasn't really made much of a difference. You can send some of that this way Jeramie. But not too much. LOL I like to fish every now and then.

Tominator
I hear you man. It's one or the other, never seems to be an inbetween. Last year I couldn't complain. Nice summer with adequate rain throughout, but this year, we are dry, dry, dry. Global warming.

Or at least not this corner of it.... Then again Elijah did call fire from heaven to burn a drenched offering. Maybe I should be looking up! The good news is, Im bringing a small bass rod tomorrow. Im going to troll on the way home....

Grant-KS
Your turn!!! It's pouring here right now as well. We'll see how long it keeps up, but the grass was getting kinda dry here anyway, so we could use some, but I'll bet the wheat farmers are awfully antsy right about now. Last summer a local lake was not more than a li'l mud puddle, but this summer it rose to 13' above desired depth. All of our lakes needed water really badly. I just hope it doesn't do as much damage down there as it did here. Good luck!
