spcfoor Posted December 28, 2004 Report Share Posted December 28, 2004 It was so cold here on Thursday. Wind chill 5 below. Got four inches of snow and 1/2" of ice couldn't get my truck up the mountain(not 4 wheel drive). Had to walk 3/4 of a mile to get there. Then I couldn't get to my normal spot due to it being another 1 1/2 miles away. It was good to just be out in the woods. Didn't see anything but a couple of birds. Sorry to hear the snow and ice stopped you from getting into your favourite spot. We all know how nice it is to get into our favourite spots, when the time comes.
