HOYTHOUNDDOG
Recently, my family and I returned from our annual trout fishing trip in North Arkansas at Gaston's resort. Needles to say we did not come home with an empty cooler. We had a great time fishing and having fun. I was needing some suggestions on other ways to cook whole trout other than my regular way of grilling with lemon juice, butter, bell peppers and onion. Any recipes someone doesn't mind turning lose? HOYTHOUNDDOG
Thanks for the recipe. I am more of a venison and beef "griller" and do not have too many trout recipes in my cooking "portfolio." I will sure give this a try. Snipe
The only Trout we get around here in North Texas is when the state stocks the local city lakes with trout in late winter.. The store bought trout here ...Yuck!!
HOYTHOUNDDOG
I don't probably live too far from ya. We really enjoy North Arkansas in the eary spring. You oughta try it if you like something different. We just use spinning reels, no fly rods.
