Tony Posted June 28, 2007 Report Share Posted June 28, 2007 yep just got the word from the HR person at Farley and Sathers Candy in Creston Iowa. they want me to come work for them on second shift, 3 to 11:30. lots of overtime available and starting wage is $15.60 per hour. i will be able to test out into a better hourly wage in 3 months. which means if i can pass there mechanical and electrical test i could earn up to an extra 2 bucks an hour. i bet i could test out of the electrical right now. the bad part is i had to go into our plant owners office and turn in my formal 2 week resignation. it truely pains me to have to do this, but i have a better opportunity that i cant pass up. my last day at Woodmarc is july 12th. pretty good feeling to know that i still can sell myself and my job skills. today is a happy day.
