Stinking Gripe Sesion

Our Department Secretary came around telling us we have a "Luncheon meeting" from 11:30-1:00. AKA, gripe session.

I can already tell you id rather just go home. I hate these meeting because they start out with, "Free Pizza" but by the end of the meeting were pretty much worthless. I cant think of a better way to start a week! (dripping with sarcasm)

The really bad part is I have the TWO single most important jobs in the company on my desk so i know where this will be directed. I should have just stayed in bed.......... :(

Its better now...... Sheesh.... You missed the entire point of that post... ;)

Nope, did not miss the point at all. Least they feed you before the "grip" session:D

Btw, keep in mind my hands move at 80+ wpm. My brain functions at roughly 15 wpm. :D

LOL. Seem to suffer from the same problem, but usually results in my fat fumbly fingers occasionally hitting the keys frequently in reverse order leaving me to go back and double check my typing.

I like the idea Lou!

The meeting went like this,

Engineering: "Enjoy the pizza! Now we have a real problem with drafting being a bottle neck. We need you to work more hours (Im working between 50-60 every week in 5-days). We need you to own your projects and take pride in your work (however we answer to roughly 5 different people, we are never invited to meetings, and are completely oblivious to most of the information, including due dates)."

Drafting: "What about hangups in Engineering and the fact that 3-4 weeks is penciled in for customer drawings yet we get them the week before they are do?"

Engineering: "Nope, engineering is perfect. Its all your fault, make it better. And remember, we bought you pizza today. We rule....... We'll, there goes an hour and a half. Make sure to bill a job so that it doesn't reflect administrative overhead. Back work everyone, dont forget to pencil in that you took a 30-minute lunch, and I hope you enjoyed your free pizza. Any warrants, questions, or concerns can be addressed by working more overtime. By the way, did I mention that we bought you pizza?"

Drafting (after engineering left the room): "Well that sucked. But we got free pizza........."
