rossman
I'm getting a new Ross bow. The archery Shop said he would give me $300 for my Mathews Outback for a trade in. Here's the description I would put on ebay. Do you think $300 trade in value is a good deal or should I ask for more? What do you think about this deal? All help will be much appreciated. Description: I bought this bow new three years ago and used it for one season. Then I upgraded to a newer model. The last two seasons it was stored in a case and not used. This bow is in excellent condition. I replaced the string with a brand new “Zebra Barracuda Bowstring”, string loop and peep sight. I shot the bow approximately 10 times to confirm the point of impact. This bow is field ready. Read below for included accessories. Mathews Outback Accessories: --Doinker® Stabilizer --Carolina Archery Deluxe Quick Shot Whisker Biscuit Arrow Rest – Black. --Vital Gear 3-Pin Bow Sight. Note: third pin/ring is not shown but is included and will be shipped with bow. --Brand new, “Zebra Barracuda Bowstring”. Only shot 10 times!!!! --String loop and tied in peep sight. Thanks--Rossman

hutchies
Most on AT are going for around $400 bare bow without all the extras.
AdvantageTimberLou
Hutchies is right, try it yourself. Try www.archerytalk.com and you'd sell it within a week on there! Mathews are hot sellers over there!
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
yeah, i would look into selling it yourself, on AT or on ebay. i sold my 4 year old mathews SQ2 with a 2 year old muzzy zero effect rest on it and couple years ago for $350 on ebay. you should be able to get more than what i did for yours with all those accessories

Adjam5
What is the draw length? You might have a buyer on this board with that info... I love my Outback, paid $545 stripped, when it was the hottest bow out there
Guest J-Daddy
Yeah $300 is to cheap on that bow and accessories. Post it on ArcheryTalk, with the stuff on it you should be able to get around $450 out of it on there....I've sold and traded alot of bows on ArcheryTalk and Mathews always bring top dollar on there...Alot of the time they honestly bring more than they are worth. I've seen used Mathews bring more on ArcheryTalk than I could but a new one for, never made alot of sense to me.

slughunter
You can get a lot more than that, almost all archery shops offer/give such a low amount that its almost insulting (atleast to me). I would sell it yourself. -shane
