Guest Xen
My daughter has fallen in love with my Ruger 10/22. She shoots it until the barrel is glowing red and then complains that the ammo is gone. I am very happy that I have found something I can share with my daughter. I plan on stepping her up soon. I was thinking about getting an AR-15. I think she'd do ok with it as long as I had a decent recoil pad. Also thinking about a collapsible stock so she can grow with the gun. wtnhunt
That is cool. Might not even need a recoil pad on the AR. My AR is kind of on the heavy side, there is really very little recoil.

Guest Xen
I'm thinking that for her next birthday I'll buy her a .300 Win Mag and get her an OTPG shirt... do those come in pink?
Strut10
I'm thinking that for her next birthday I'll buy her a .300 Win Mag and get her an OTPG shirt... do those come in pink? Good choice!! the .300 Win Mag has got to be one of (if not the) the world's most versatile shooting tools. Mild recoil......very strong performance.......universally available and not too expensive to shoot. I have yet to have a girl complain after shooting my Model 70 .300 Win Mag from the bench. A pink OTPG shirt for your daughter would be but 1 phone call to the screenprinter away.

Go ahead and order that shirt in pink now and post a picture with her wearing it....I'd love to see that. I'm sure Don will hold a spot for her future membership!
