coles
just the other day i posted about how i wasnt able to go huntin cuz it was too hot. Well this morning i woke up to 38 degrees and almost frost. i love it. its about time. we had about a month and a half of 90-100 degree weather literally every day this summer. but anyways. i climbed in my stand this morning and about an hour later this guy was in the back of my pickup. he came out with 6 other bucks. i only saw one doe this morning and the rest were bucks. but here he is and he is my first buck with a bow. i have killed some does and a bull elk but this is my first buck. i was excited to say the least. i was so excited that i tried to climb down the tree with my safety belt on! shot him at 30 yards and he ran maybe 30 yards and fell over. here he is! coles
i was using Muzzy 100gr 3 blades. i agree they sure did a number on him. I cut the horns off and left them outside lastnight and either someone stole them or a dog drug them off. so we are goin to put an ad in the newspaper to see if anyone found them in their yard or anything.
