Tony Posted September 20, 2007 Report Share Posted September 20, 2007 been playing with my MS paint and a aerial map. check out this stand location. cant wait until oct 1st. the yellow line is the boundry and fence line. the green lines are trails and the red dot is my stand location. the yellow Xs are cornfields. the area to the west of the stand where the trails go is super thick cedars and nasty stuff almost impossible to get into. i figure its bedding area. PotashRLS Posted September 20, 2007 Report Share Posted September 20, 2007 Covering both trails looks good. I assume you'll have W/NW prevailing winds in the fall, so watch out. You may have to tweek the location a bit for mornings. Also looks close enough to the food source that it would be an equally good evening stand. The wind may be more manageable then.
