Tom2008
My little sisters wanted to come with me to get my tree stand and ladder off the public land last Sunday. I told them it was a long walk and we needed to make a trail to the stand so it would be easier to get the stand out. They didn't care and tagged along. I let them sit in my stand and they really enjoyed that. The littlest one kept saying "this looks like a good place for deer to be Tommy". I let the older of the two carry my .22 on the way since I had the ladder and tree stand. I unloaded it and made sure the safety was on. She carried it safely through the woods just as she was told. I'm proud of my siblings and hope someday I can take them on their first deer hunt. Oh and by the way they are 4 and 6 years old.
