How many do you have??

Usually we run 2000 to 2500 head here. But last year we had to cull due to the drought we had. We are runnin' 350 head of mommas right now.

I will have 300 head of first calf heifers here next month. They will be due to calf in Feb...Not going to be a fun Month for me that's for sure...

Cute little devils, but you can have them! LOL!

I have had my share of taking care of cattle! No thanks!

Oh come on Orlan...

All I see is a Ribeye with four legs...LOL...:D

Yeah I do know what you mean though...There has been many times I wish I had never even seen a cow...

They can be a pain that's for sure...

The second pic reminds me of our cattle: Brahma/Hereford mix. The rest look to have a little Angus in them. Good meat cattle that can stand a little heat if necessary.

I just couldn't imagine 300 head dropping in one season. We used to average 25-30 and trust me, that's a lot of watching and tending right there.:D

Yeah Kevin it is alot of work alright...

I'm expecting the 300 head from Nebraska to get here about the middle of Oct. They have all been A.I.ed to calf all at one time...

I can guarantee you that my Calf pullers will get one heck of a work out...

We are replacing everything to Angus. No more cross breeds...

Those long eared type cattle do get alittle froggy...
