IllinoisHunter
I shoot a Switchback and the last 20, or so shots with it I've noticed the string keeps twisting. It even wrapped my peep-site rubber into a knot. Does anyone know what's causing this and what I should do? I took it to the shop prior to season's start, and everything checked out okay. Also, will it cause faulty arrow flight, doesn't seem to have an impact yet?
Squirrelhunter91
Do you shoot a D-loop? Try rotating the loop if you have one. It might help.
RackBlaster
I remember something with Mathews bows that had a problem with their strings, i think replacing the string solved that problem.
Gator
How old are the strings? How many shots on them? If they're new strings, the twist is them stretching, best thing to do is shoot them in, then take it back to the shop and have it all reset. Guest bowhunter56
I don't believe in or like twisting a string to make things right..check with a bow shop..
Guest bow_hunter8
I have a swithcback and had the same problem so i bought winners choice string and cables they are pricey but after you shoot them in they dont stretch at all. I really like winners choice they have done good on my last 4 bows.
