Hoyt03
I have a stealth wildview 2mp trail cam that I never had issues with at all except for the slow trigger. Well now it seems the flash has gone out on me. Cannot get the flash to work. Is this something that can happen to cams over time, and can this be fixed yourself? This camera is not yet a year old but has been in the field almost exclusively since last January, and has taken lots (over 5,000 easy) pics. Appreciate any help, I plan on contacting the manufacturer sometime as well.
wtnhunt
Dont know about that company, but if it was a leaf river and inside a year, bet they would eat the fix on the flash. Had the flash module on my leaf river, which was over 3 years old at that time, go out. It cost me about $25 with shipping to get it fixed. Would contact the company and see what they say. Hoyt03
they said that with proof of purchase they would send me a new one out when I send that one back. Don't have the receipt, now what?
wtnhunt
now what? Guess that would depend on how much they want to charge you to fix it outside of warranty or whether or not they might take some other sort of proof of purchase aside from the store receipt. Where did you buy it from and did you buy it on a credit card? If so, might be able to use that information as proof of purchase.
