buckee
I'm surprised my power is still on. It's been gusting to 140 km all night and this morning. There is stuff blowing all over the place, my Mobile home is creaking, in places, I've never heard it creak before. I wanted to go hunting this morning...dang It says 111 km on here, but it's wrong http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/bc-92_metric_e.html My buddy Steve and I went down to the farm to see what it looked like, and to see how Don's driveway looked. We did a lot of clearing, and he was gald we showed up. Yesterday Morning's hunt, just before the storm hit. Main Road, above the farm Driveway into thew farm Storm clearing up while we were there

Tore part of the roof off my shop That will have to wait. Had a down-spout in the yard, and a stack of siding I had was strewn all over the place. My Garbage cans were down the street, My wife had to go work in Campbell river this morning, and the waves were coming right across the highway up there, and washing huge rocks and driftwood, all over the road. She and her co-worker were petrified driving up there, and on the way back, they found out the lane they were driving up in, had washed right out in that spot. That was some crazy storm. supposed to blow again tonight, but not as bad...I hope

wtnhunt
Sorry to hear about the damage Steve. Sounds like it was a pretty bad storm. We get some pretty crazy winds here up on this hill. Dont really have much at all in the way of windbreaks on any side of our house aside from the east which unfortunately is where least often get winds from:(
